Kathy’s sample was knit in a beautiful solid chunky yarn and embellished around the neck edge with a totally different yarn.

“Sweet November” is the project on all of our needles here at the Cottage. We have fallen in love with this shawl/scarf that was inspired from the movie “Sweet November” (staring Charlize Theron) and are having a blast feverishly knitting them in all colors. You will want to knit this and have several on hand for the approaching cooler weather. It is a perfect wrap for our moderate climate here in the south and a very easy knit. A great project for the beginner to the adventurous and will make a great gift for that “hard to shop for person” on your list.
The Odessa Hat is a one day class. It’s a simple pattern stitch but looks very intricate!
Beads can be added to this pretty hat.
