On the one hand, you have a scrumptious hand-knit sweater. On the other, you have two sticks and ball of string.
Figuring out how one of these things relates to the other can seem impossibly daunting. We were all there at some point and we are here now to teach you the basics. You will learn to cast on, knit, purl and bind off. If you know just those things, you can make, say, a fabulous scarf. But we’ll also show you how to increase and decrease and how to read basic patterns. In three short weeks, you will have acquired the foundational skills and plenty of confidence to go with them. You’ll walk away from the class with an adorable small bag made of chunky yarn, handmade by you, tangible proof of all you will have learned! From this point you can happily knit for a lifetime. You can also start to build on your repertoire… and we’ll be here to help you with that when you’re ready.
