We’re excited to announce our next all-day workshop on Saturday, April 17, 2010, Pine Lake Country Club in Mint Hill from 8:30am until 5:00pm. We’ve planned our classes around techniques and projects to stir your creative juices. We promise it will be both educational and fun.
Imagine taking 3 classes of your choice, including all materials, a continental breakfast AND lunch! We’ve thought of everything, although it may be necessary to bring a set of needles with you for one of the classes.
Bring a friend with you and make this a fun day of learning and knitting. You deserve it!
Please call us or come by to reserve your spot and designate your class preferences. $125 for all materials, instruction and FOOD. What a deal.

This vest could easily be knitted by an advanced beginner. Learn “easy cables” and ribbing and have this knit up in no time!! Shop sample was knitted using Azapa by Araucania.
Noni bags are bags to be worn, not just carried. They are, like jewelry or any adornment, extensions of our personalities.

With beautiful new fall and winter yarns arriving almost daily, we’re putting together project kits for your shopping ease and project pleasure. Comprised of a pattern or book, yarn and other necessities, we’ve priced our kits to move.
This cardigan is worked back and forth in rows in 2 halves, each half beginning at the sleeve cuff. The two halves are joined using the three-needle bind-off method. Lots of new techniques to learn including making a button-hole.
This pattern is crocheted in the round with a pretty drawstring closure. The pattern is designed to wear loosely around the shoulders, but with the drawstring loosened, it could be worn around the hips as a beach skirt! Come see our shop sample……lovely!
The “Brea Bag” has become a favorite here at the Cottage. Ours is made from a great cotton yarn for the summer, but we will be knitting our next one from one of our beautiful winter yarns.
