It’s Kid’s Crochet Camp time! June 20 – 24, Monday through Friday, 10am-12:30pm.
Cost is $50 and includes all materials for projects they will take home to impress the rest of the family!

Crochet has its own style and techniques. If you want to learn or have been away from crochet for a while, come discover the joy of working with quality yarns. Knitters will love using crochet for embellishments and adding interest to their projects. Learn the basic stitches of crochet and you’ll get hooked!

In one hand you have a ball of string, in the other two sticks. Now what?
Figuring out what to do can seem impossibly daunting. We were all there at some point and we are here now to teach you the basics. You will learn to cast on, knit, purl and bind off. We’ll also show you how to increase and decrease and how to read basic patterns. After this class you will have acquired the foundational skills of knitting and plenty of confidence to go with them.
This is a sequence of two classes.

Join us for a class in knitting this lovely diagonal button cardi. Great class for those wanting to learn how to make buttonholes, seaming and coordinating yarns to fit your body. Kathy’s sample was knit in a beautiful solid chunky yarn and embellished around the neck edge with a totally different yarn.

We have fallen in love with this pattern – especially when it’s knitted in our beautiful Araucania Azapa yarn. The fiber contents of this yarn is 30% alpaca, 45% merino, 15% silk and 10% donegal.
